In 2021, my life was profoundly changed when we lost our son, Carter, after just two weeks in the NICU. He was born prematurely at 24 weeks, and his brief life had a lasting impact on me. My grief and love for Carter inspired me to start Precious Cargo, a transportation company dedicated to showing that transportation is more than just getting a ride-it's a way of life.
Having worked in transportation for eight years, I came to see transportation as a metaphor for how we carry our children through life. Even pregnancy is a form of transportation, as we nurture our children from the beginning. At Precious Cargo, we carry this belief forward, ensuring that every child we transport is treated with the utmost care and respect.
Through Precious Cargo, I honor Carter's memory by helping families navigate their daily lives with peace of mind, knowing their precious ones are in good hands.

Q: Do you perform background checks on your drivers?
A: Yes! All drivers MUST go through background checks, and we also look at their driving records.
Q: Does the child get the same driver every day?
A: Yes! We try our best to keep the children with their assigned driver, however, in the instance where a driver has called off OR running late, we may sub in a new driver to ensure the child has transportation.
Q: What happens if school cancels?
A: No worries! If the school cancels for the day you paid for, you will receive a credit on your next payment.
Q: What areas do you currently service?
A: We are currently servicing Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding areas.
Q: If my child needs a car seat/booster seat will I have to purchase it?
A: No, we provide the car seats at no cost to you.
Q: When are payments due?
A: Payments are due before services are performed, every Sunday by 6pm
